Anand Raj

One of our most recent success stories was a boy named Anand Raj, who came to Cornerstone Children’s Home at the age of thirteen after spending several years in various children’s homes. Anand initially struggled with his education, but his enthusiasm and passion for vehicles made him an excellent mechanic. Just recently, he passed a two-wheeler ITI course with flying colours, and very soon will begin a paid apprenticeship on an eight-month contract. This means that soon he will no longer require our support, and will be able to stand on his own two feet! We are extremely proud of Anand’s hard work and dedication, and we want to continue changing the lives of more children like him. With your donations and support, we promise to provide not just more charity, but more opportunity to disadvantaged children, so that they have a fair chance to grow, learn and prosper.

Hear from a Big Hug Sponsor

"I found that the young founder, Natasha Mansigani to be highly professional and dynamic and was blown away by her purpose to make a difference at such a tender age herself. The level of attention and communication from Natasha is first class and I was encouraged by her desire to act and set up the Big Hug Foundation. I wish her and the foundation continued success and will continue to support their sponsor a child scheme."
