Nandini joined Cornerstone Children’s Home with her sister, Kritika, in 2010. Their father suffers from mental instability, and has required constant attention from their mother, often to the neglect of the girls’ education or wellbeing. Fortunately, since joining Cornerstone, both girls are receiving a rich learning experience and enjoying a much healthier lifestyle. Now fifteen years old, Nandini enjoys sports, and wants to be an Olympic athlete when she grows up, while her sister hopes to become a social worker. Your support through our Sponsor a Child scheme will enable Nandini to continue her education and create a future for herself. Meanwhile, the Big Hug Foundation is working closely with the Cornerstone Trust in India to help improve Nandini’s parents’ situation.
