Nandini joined Cornerstone Children’s Home with her sister, Kritika, in 2010. Their father suffers from mental instability, and has required constant attention from their mother, often to the neglect of the girls’ education or wellbeing.
Pooraja is sixteen years old. At a young age, he was abandoned by his father, whose whereabouts remain unknown to this day. Meanwhile, his mother is struggling to earn a salary in a village in Tamil Nadu.
Praveen is an only child who lost his mother to cancer when he was just eleven years old. At such a young age, this was a distressing time for him, and he needed the full support of his remaining family.
Rithik Kumar came to Cornerstone Children’s Home with his younger brother, Karthikeyan, in 2011. Their parents separated due to an affair, and since their father was no longer interested in supporting them, their mother was forced to raise them alone.
