On 6th October 2011, the Big Hug Foundation was registered as a charity in England and Wales.
On 6th October 2011 the Charity Commission of England & Wales entered the Big Hug Foundation in the Register of Charities.
There are many benefits of registering as a charity including tax breaks, claiming gift aid and of course being able to reach a wider audience of donors.
