In partnership with the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy, earlier this year we begun supporting their Early Intervention Clinic (EIC) for infants at high risk of cerebral palsy. The project is based in Kolkata, India and supports an average of 350 children every year.

We are pleased to announce our new partnership with the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy (IICP), and Big Hug’s support of the the Jugnu Pre-School Programme (Jugnu).
Over the last few months, we have been working hard to initiate a partnership with the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy (IICP) in Kolkata, West Bengal. IICP is a non-government organization which supports over 1500 children and young people in Kolkata and the surrounding areas.
Bharathi recently represented the Tamil Nadu United Cricket Team (under 19 yrs) in the All India United Cricket Championship which was held in Bangalore. Being an all rounder he took 6 wickets and was the top run scorer in the tournament.
Muthuvel was one of the first children to join us at Cornerstone Children's Home Project when it started in 2008. Although he has had a difficult childhood he has always respected the power of education.
This is a very proud moment for team Big Hug. After 2 years of hard work we have finally reached our £70,000 target needed to construct our first orphanage for 50 street children in South India.
