Summer Sessions, a fantastic event organised by Big Hug fundraisers, Teena, Dhanisha and Jayna. The event of the summer was held in the Carlton Lounge garden which was filled with garden games, a bouncy castle and of course lots of food and drink!
The 4th edition of The Prideview Cricketers’ Cup (PCC), contested on Saturday 18th July ’15, was a tremendous success, receiving the stamp of authority from Lord Patel and Kiran More, two heavyweights from the ECB (English Cricket Board) and BCCI (Board of Control of Cricket in India) respectively.
To celebrate the charity's fourth birthday we held a fantastic quiz night. The fundraising event included an exciting quiz, raffle, refreshments and of course lots of sensational prizes!
Muthuvel was one of the first children to join us at Cornerstone Children's Home Project when it started in 2008. Although he has had a difficult childhood he has always respected the power of education.
This is a very proud moment for team Big Hug. After 2 years of hard work we have finally reached our £70,000 target needed to construct our first orphanage for 50 street children in South India.
We were delighted to once again have been chosen as the charity of the year for The Prideview Group for their annual fundraising event the Prideview Cricketers’ Cup.
Big Hug Foundation is now officially registered as a charitable organisation in India!! This is a huge step for our organisation and will enable us to reach more underprivileged children and families across India in the future
Natasha had an amazing time this morning talking to the year 1 children of Avanti Court Primary School about charity, poverty and the work we do. Such smart 6 year olds!!
