Cornerstone Visit

Last month Natasha visited India to work on the project and spend some time with the children. Here’s a brief account of her trip.

“The children have all grown so much and are as happy as ever! As I was seeing the children after a year I couldn’t believe the changes in their behavior, they have all become more confident, jovial children.

None of the children now suffer from skin allergies as they did at the previous home as they are now in a safer, more hygienic environment, away from the dangerous rodents and diseases at their old home.

We had lots of generous donors who sent clothes for the children, sponsored delicious meals and organised a fun day trip!! Thank you all for your continued support!”

Following Natasha’s recent trip to the project, in addition to funding the rent and electricity bills at the home, we have now taken on the following responsibilities:

1) Funding the cost of a south Indian health mix. All the children will be given the mix as porridge 2 - 3 times a week and their weight will be monitored regularly.

2) Funding the salary of a teacher who will teach the children spoken English every weekend.
